LOWELL – Cecilia A. (Kloza) O'Loughlin, 92, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 following a short stay at a local healthcare facility. She was the wife of the late Gerald F. O'Loughlin.
Born in Lowell on June 14, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Boleslaw and Mary (Orzechowski) Kloza.
Mrs. O'Loughlin received her education at St. Stanislaus Parochial Grammar School and Lowell High School. She was a Parishioner of the Holy Trinity Church.
Prior to her retirement in 1998, Cecilia was employed by the Lowell Sun Newspaper as a clerk.
The most important thing in Cecilia's life was her family and friends to whom she was devoted.
Her family wishes to express special thanks to her home health care aides, especially Carol Teixeira, and to Cecilia's neighbors for without their love and devotion over the past years Cecilia could have never remained in the comfort of the home she so dearly loved.
She is survived by her son, Richard G. O'Loughlin and Patricia Nichols of Lowell; a brother, Victor L. Kloza of Lowell; two sisters-in-law, Beaulah Kloza of Amesbury and Rita (O'Loughlin) Broderick of Chelmsford; a brother-in-law, William Perry of Chelmsford. She was a sister of the late Mitchel Kloza and Sophia Myslinski and sister-in-law of the late Mary (O'Loughlin) Perry, Robert and Patricia (O'Loughlin) Phaneuf and John Broderick.
