Cecile (Lausier) Martineau
Lowell- Cecile (Boudreau) (Lausier) Martineau, 93, widow of Philip Lausier and Rosario "Mike" Martineau, died Tuesday, December 14, in a local nursing home following an extended illness.
Born in Lowell on July 19,1911, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Helen (Young) Boudreau. She received her education in Lowell Schools and was a longtime communicant of St. Louis de France Church.
Mrs. Martineau was a member of the Golden Age Club of Lowell, the Centralville Senior Citizens' Club, the Fraternite des Bon Vivant of Ste Jeanne d'Arc Parish, the Poor Clare Guild, the Archambault Towers Club and the Chanteclerc Snowshoers Club of Dracut.
Surviving her are two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry R. and Alice Lausier of Billerica and Raymond L. and Gabrielle Lausier of Tyngsboro; a daughter, Doris Drew and companions, Carol Touma of Nashua; two sisters, Blanche Mercier and Doris Piexhote both of Lowell; also eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert, Henry and Raymond Boudreau.
