Cathy Ann Nyberg … Loving daughter, sister, aunt

HUDSON, NH - Cathy Ann Nyberg, 67, passed away on Sunday, October 07, 2018 at The Inn at Fairview in Hudson, NH with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Lowell on March 10, 1951, a daughter of the late James B. Nyberg, Sr. and Mary (Quigley) Nyberg.

Cathy was born and raised in the Centralville section of Lowell. She received her Sacraments and was a Parishioner of St. Michael Church in Lowell, MA. In 1998, she moved to Dracut where she resided until recently.

She had been employed by the former St. John Hospital and Hannaford super market in Dracut, MA.

She loved children and animals, especially her cat, Logan.

Cathy especially enjoyed time spent with her siblings and nieces and nephews.

Cathy's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Inn at Fairview, Pollard Community, and to Compassionate Care Hospice for the loving attention given to her while she was a resident.

Cathy leaves a brother and his wife, Jay and Carol Nyberg of Hudson, NH; nephews, nieces and their spouses, Kevin and Alexandra Nyberg, Kim and Jay Normand, Craig and Courtney Proulx, Shawn and Kendra Proulx and Jeremy Proulx. She also leaves nine great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Jill M. Proulx.

ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cathy's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Thursday from 9:00 until 11:00 AM followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Micheal Church in Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cathy's memory to the Special Olympics of New Hampshire, 650 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03101.
