DRACUT - Catherine R. (Cushion) Gamache, 89, a resident of Dracut for 61 years, died Saturday evening, October 28, 2006 at her home. She was the wife of Alphee R. Gamache with whom she was married for 71 years.
Born in Lowell on January 15, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alexandria (Blanchette) Cushion.
A member of St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, she also held membership in the Dracut Senior Citizens Club and the Dracut Council on Aging.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Lorette Gamache of Dracut, Leon and Ethel Gamache of North Chelmsford and Robert and Donna Gamache of Davenport, WA; a daughter, Rita Lefebvre of Merrimack, NH; 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Germaine Goyette of Tyngsboro. She was the sister of the late Cora Lamoureux.
