Catherine A. Crowley

Lowell - Catherine A. Crowley, a lifelong resident of the Grove section of Lowell, died Tuesday May 26, 2009 at a local nursing home following an extended illness. She was 90.
Born in Lowell on January 15, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Dowling) Crowley.
Catherine was an active parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church. She was employed as a payroll administrator at the former St. John's Hospital for 35 years retiring in 1981.
Catherine enjoyed traveling to Ireland but most of all cherished spending time with her family.
Survivors include several nephews and nieces, John and Mary Lou Crowley of Dracut, Fr. James Crowley of Spartanburg, SC, Maureen Ouellette of Lowell, Mary and Patrick Cullinan of Wolfboro, NH, Patricia and Robert DeLuca of Chelmsford, Kathleen Moore of Lowell; several great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary, John J., and Daniel Crowley.
