Carol G. (Patenaude) Hebert

November 5, 1946 — November 9, 2018

DRACUT - Carol G. (Patenaude) Hebert, age 72, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 9, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond A. Hebert, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage, prior to his death in 2015.

Carol was born in Lowell on November 5, 1946, a daughter of the late Edmour F. and Cecile (Jambard) Patenaude. She attended Ste. Jeanne d'Arc School in Lowell and was a graduate of Dracut High School.

Prior to her retirement in 2010, Carol was employed for 22 years by Paul M. Gangi, DMD, in Methuen.

In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading, and baking. Most importantly, Carol was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed. 

Carol is survived by her two children; Steven Hebert of Gardner and Aimee Lyles and her husband William of Dracut; six grandchildren, Chelsey Richardson of Pepperell, Jacob Lyles, Grace Hebert, Chloe Hebert Raymond Hebert, and Thomas Lyles, all of Dracut; her siblings, Elaine Rupp of Pelham, NH, Ronald Patenaude and his wife Lorraine of Fort Pierce, FL, Carl Patenaude and his wife Kathy of Dracut, Ernest Patenaude of Dracut, and Edmour and Stasia Patenaude of Templeton, MA.

She also leaves behind two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Rachel and George Murphy of Venice, FL and Pamela and Michael Hodge of Nashua, NH.

She was also the sister and sister-in-law of the late Claire and Henry Lanier.

Carol will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and many dear friends, including Michelle Gagnon, Carol Daigle, and Cali Baron as well as her beloved companion, Rocky.

Carol's family would like to thank Circle Home for the compassion and care that they gave to her during her illness.

ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carol's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford.
