Carl J. Hannigan

Townsend - Carl J. Hannigan, 73, widower of Dorothy (Sousa) Hannigan and Mary C. (Parker) Hannigan, died unexpectedly Friday morning at his Townsend residence.
He was born in Leominster on January 10, 1933, a son of the late Carl A. and Ruth G. (McMillian) Hannigan.
Mr. Hannigan was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Air Force.
He was an HVAC contractor having worked in the family business CA Hannigan & Sons in Lowell.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law, Carl J., Jr. and Gail Hannigan of Nashua, Robert D. Hannigan of Lynnfield; three daughters and a son in law, Lisa M. and Derek Cloutier of Lowell, Colleen R. Hannigan of Townsend, Debra Lee M. Hannigan of Lynnfield; three brothers, Richard Hannigan of Pleasanton, FL, Roger Hannigan of CA, James Hannigan of Dracut; two sisters, Evelyn Kane of Jacksonville, FL, Catherine Bergeron of Lowell; and many grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Robert Hannigan.
