Dracut

Brian P. Marcoux, 53, a resident of Dracut, died Saturday, October 12, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Londonderry, NH.

Born in Lawrence on January 27, 1971, Brian was a son of the late Edward and Alice (Botelho) Tynan. Brian graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School and worked on cars and in construction, from working on roads, building houses and plowing snow. He also had a second job at a pizza restaurant at one point. His speciality was heavy equipment and was currently employed as a heavy equipment operator for Greener Group, LLC. There was no project too big and nothing that he couldn't build or fix. Always lending a helping hand, Brian was a mentor to many, sharing his wisdom and teaching his passions to anyone willing to learn. He enjoyed coaching Centralville baseball for several years. Brian was known for his carefree spirit and lived life to the fullest, taking every opportunity when adventure arose “yeah yeah”. He loved all activities outdoors including camping, boating and riding his motorcycle. As he would say “send it.” Brian was a legend.

He leaves three children, William Furman and his wife Cydney Clougherty, Morgan Marcoux, and Devon Marcoux and his significant other, Jorden Cifredo; a granddaughter, Adecyn Furman; several siblings, among whom are Scott Marcoux, Jen Tynan and Marcia Tynan and her fiancé Edward Kelley; also many nieces, nephews and friends. He was a brother of the late Richard Marcoux.

A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held in the spring.

Relatives and friends are invited to Brian’s calling hours on Sunday, October 20, from 2 until 5 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street.
