Blanche I. Gannon

Blanche I. (LaPierre) Gannon, 69, of Lowell passed away peacefully Sunday February 7, 2010 at the Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Lowell on April 15, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Oscar J. and Florida (Daniel) LaPierre.
Blanche attended both Notre Dame De Lourdes School and Lowell High School.
For many years, she worked in many facets under the Archdiocese of Boston at local parishes including, St. Michael, St. Louis, St. Rita and Ste. Therese. She was a former member of the Order of Carmelites.
Survivors include three sons, James Gannon of Waterville, ME, Michael Gannon and his wife, Robin of Hudson, NH, Sean Gannon of Pompano Beach, FL; two daughters, Linda Gannon of Manchester, NH, Lisa Gannon and her partner, Sandra McDonnell of Manchester, NH; four sisters, Jessie Spenard and her husband, George of Lowell, Claire Pelletier and her husband, Maurice of NH and FL, Pauline Patenaude and her husband, Mike of Lowell, Germaine LaPierre of Sarasota, FL; a sister-in-law, Danielle LaPierre of NH.; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many, many nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of James T. Gannon of Nashua, NH
She was a sister of the late Lewis J. LaPierre, Norman LaPierre and sister-in- law of the late Eilleen LaPierre.
