Blanche Jeannette (Piche) Elie, 85, a Dracut resident, died Monday March 22, 2004, at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the widow of Henry W. Elie who died in 1983, with whom she was married for 44 years.
She was born in Lowell on August 10, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph Alfred and Marie Louise (Soucy) Piche.
Mrs. Elie was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church.
She was a waitress at the former Hunters Haven, and the Village Inn in Dracut.
Mrs. Elie is survived by a son and daughter in law, Robert F. and Sandra A. Elie of Dracut; a daughter and son in law Lorraine and George Woods of Dracut; eight grandchildren, George and Steven Woods of FL, Darlene Jarvis of FL, Rhonda Allison of NH, Henry Elie of AL, Justine McCartin of Dracut , Nadine Barnard and Shane Aubuchon both of ME; seventeen great grandchildren; four sisters in law, Patricia Piche of Lowell, Yvette Beaudry, Jeannette Elie and Jeannette Elie, all of Dracut; two brothers in law, Leo Elie of Dracut, and Ludger Elie of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Gertrude Aubuchon. and the sister of the late Ralph, Roland, and Roger Piche, Simone Descoteaux, Claire Halligan, and Cecile Sarris.
