PELHAM, NH – Beverly M. (Maguire) Trainor, 79, a longtime resident of Pelham, NH, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 1, 2016, following a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Donald W. Trainor with whom she was married for 57 years, and they would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on September 28th.
Born in Lowell on May 16, 1937, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Illg) Maguire. Beverly was educated in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1954. She resided in Lowell until 1965, upon which she and her husband Don moved to Pelham, NH to raise their family.
She retired from the Colonial Gas Company of Lowell where she worked in customer service, and had previously been employed by McDonald Oil Company of Lowell and Litchfield-McDonald Oil Company of Dracut. Beverly loved bowling & was on a league for many years. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida & treasured her friends there, Joe, George, Ellie & Bob.
In addition to her husband she leaves a daughter and her spouse, Pamela A. (Trainor) Fitzgerald and John of Dracut; two sons and their spouses, David W. and Ann (Fraser) Trainor of Dracut and Michael F. and Bobbie-Jo (Livingston) Trainor of Pelham, NH; eight grandchildren, Michaela, Shelagh and Jack Fitzgerald, Kelly and David Trainor, Jr., Zachary, Ashley and Alexandra Lyons; a sister, Jacqueline (Maguire) Sumner and her husband Dennis and their family; a nephew and nieces, Michael Burnett, Leigh Ann (Burnett) Benson, Trish Burnett and their families; dear friends, Caroline (Pitta) Young and Faith Thompson.
