PLYMOUTH - Beverly A. (Smith) Proulx, 70, a longtime resident of Plymouth died Wednesday, June 13 at Lowell General Hospital with her family by her side, following a brief illness.

Born in Plymouth on October 6, 1947, Beverly was the daughter of the late Elmer R. and Florence W. (Gray) Smith. She received her education in Plymouth schools and graduated from Plymouth-Carver Regional H.S., class of 1966.

Earlier in life, Beverly was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield in Boston.

She loved to spend time with her Family, knitting, playing scrabble and walking.

Beverly is survived by her son, Daniel Proulx, Jr. his wife Kimberly, her four grandchildren, Corina, Danielle, Michael, and Brooklyn Proulx, all of Hudson, NH; her former husband, Daniel Proulx, Sr. of Ocklawaha, FL; her sister, Winifred Dassman, and her husband Donald of Plymouth; her sister-in-law, Loretta Smith of Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Richard Smith.

ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Marguerite D'Youville Church on Saturday, June 30th at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly's memory to: Brockton Area Arc, Attn: Jay Lynch 1250 West Chestnut St, Brockton, MA 02301.
