Bertha M. Masse

Pepperell - Bertha M. (Bussiere) Masse, 95, widow of Gerard Henry Masse and Lionel L. Masse, a resident of Pepperell formerly of Dracut, died Saturday April 8, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Lowell on November 24, 1910, a daughter of the late Joseph Fabien and Marie Alice (Laggasse) Bussiere.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a stitcher for Lowell Dress and various local dress shops.
Mrs. Masse was a communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Dracut and currently St. Joseph Church in Pepperell. She was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens Club, a member of the International Ladies Garment Union, and an avid Bingo player.
Survivors include a daughter Lorraine I. Christman of Pepperell; three grandchildren, Randy, Russell, and Debbie Christman; four great grandchildren, Matthew, Audrie, Jennifer, and Erin Christman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Andrew, Alphe, Leo, and Yvonne Irene Bussiere, Lina Landry and Alice Turcotte.
