Bernice R. (Slater) Vinal

DRACUT - Bernice R. (Slater) Vinal of Dracut and Twin Mountain New Hampshire, passed away at her home on November 3rd surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of Richard D. Vinal with whom she would have celebrated 60 years of marriage next May.
Born in Methuen on December 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bernice (Levickas) Slater. She graduated from Tenney High School in Methuen and was a part owner and clerk of Richard D. Vinal & Sons, Inc.
Besides her husband, Bernie is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard H and Kathy (Witkos), Daniel and Tricia (Hudzik), James and Deborah (Long). Six loving grandchildren who adored her, Richie Vinal, Kristine Vinal and her fiancé Ricky Fisette, Danny Vinal and his wife Lyndsey (McMahon), Courtney Vinal and her fiancé Danny Nguyen, Lindsay Vinal-Kantargis and her husband Nick , and Jimmy Vinal. A great-grandson, Kole Kantargis, who always brought a smile to her face, and a dear niece, Leah Vinal-Short. Her brothers, James Slater and wife Joanne of Salem, NH and Harry Slater and his wife Geraldine of Rocky Point, N.C. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and dear friends, both locally and in the Twin Mountain area.
Bernie loved spending time with her family, especially the travels with her grandchildren in their motor home. She leaves all of them with many fond memories of camping, hiking and fishing throughout the great north woods and summer time fun at Hampton Beach.
Bernie's family would like to thank the caregivers of Beacon Hospice for the compassionate care given to her while under their care.
