Her family and friends loved every meal and dessert she made. She enjoyed watching her “programs”, especially The Price is Right, Highway to Heaven, Matlock and Lifetime Crime Movies. Bernie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bernie will be forever grateful to her grandchildren Amy Gagnon, Timothy Gagnon, Andre Coupal, Laura Alexander, Joelynn Folger, Amber Ayers and Monica Perron for everything they did for her. All the grandchildren will miss her dearly.

In addition to her husband and parents, Bernie is also predeceased by her beloved daughter Nancy Coupal who passed away at age 4 on August 28, 1965. Her siblings, Anita McKenna, Theodore Garceau and Charlotte “Shirley” Costanzo. In addition to her family members Bernie is predeceased by her beloved dog, Bailey.

Bernadette’s family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff, who are now family at Lowell General Hospital’s Main Campus PCU Floor, as well as all the nurses and aides at Northwood Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Fresenius Kidney Care Rogers St. Lowell, MA. The family appreciates the staff for loving and taking care of our mom. A very special thanks to Dr. Sebastian Sepulveda for all the love and care given to our mom. We will always be grateful for you!
