LOWELL- Beatrice (Teixeira) Zwicker, 83, widow of the late Retired Lt. Borden F. Zwicker, LPD who died in 2010, died Wednesday evening at Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus.
Born in Lowell on October 25, 1930, she was a daughter of the late John and Maria (Souza) (Jardim) Teixeira and received her education in the Lowell schools.
Years ago, Mrs. Zwicker worked at the former Hathaway Shirt Company. She also worked in the Housekeeping Department at the University of Massachusetts Lowell for over fifteen years. Mrs. Zwicker was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Borden F. Zwicker Jr. of Lowell and Kurt J. Zwicker and his wife Diane of Lowell; a grandson, Jackson Zwicker; a brother, Anthony Teixeira of Haverhill; a sister in law, Janet Silvestri of Attleboro and many nieces, nephews, and cousins including Paula Lowry, Becky Laurent, Valerie Gordon, Jennifer Brookshaw, Frank Sylvia, Steve Sylvia, Christine Hosford, Robert Bomil Sr., Christine Bomil, Robert Bomil Jr., Kerri Bomil, David Thompson, Julia Thompson, Jeffery Thompson, Karin Cormier, Dean Thompson, Darrin Thompson and many close friends.
