Beatrice T. (Boucher) Allard, 81, a longtime Lowell resident (Pawtucketville native), died peacefully Thursday August 19, 2010 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She fought the good fight.
She was the wife of the late Emile J. Allard whom she married on January 4, 1958.
Born in Nashua, NH on December 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Simeon and Leona (Nadeau) Boucher.
Beatrice was a parishioner of St. Rita Church in Lowell where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She lived a life of service, enjoying the companionship of her dog, Buddy and visiting nearby nursing homes with him. She will be truly missed and forever loved.
Beatrice Allard devoted her life to loving and raising eight children; Christine, Richard, Russell, Susan, Lily, Paula, Robin & John. She loved each one of them and made each one of them feel like they were number one. She expanded her love to their spouses and children. As her family grew, so did her love for all. She is also survived by a brother, Armand Boucher who resides in Florida; two sisters in law, Theresa Aubuchon of Lowell and Millie Boucher of Vermont; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
