Barbara M. Proulx, 76, died peacefully, December 9, 2009, at her home after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Proulx, Sr. On October 12th they celebrated 56 years of marriage.
She was born on May 18, 1933, the daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret Gregoire.
Barbara was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children.
She spent her time sewing, knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and taught quilting.
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses she was an active member in her faith.
In addition to her husband, her children and their spouses include; Robert and Denise Proulx of Cambridge, VT; Roger and Joan Crooker of Temple, NH; Kenneth and Robin Proulx of Townsend, MA; Michael and Karen Proulx of Tyngsboro, MA.
She has nine grandchildren; Robert, Dustin, Carrie, Nathan, Ryan, Stephen, Kenneth, Tyler, and Stephanie; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister Joan Gregoire; two brothers and their spouses, Eugene and Gerry Gregoire and Robert and Shirley Gregoire.
