OBITUARY
LOWELL - Azem A. "Jay" Moustafa, 75, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Thursday, November 25, 2004 at the Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Fleurette M. (Lavallee) Moustafa.
Born in Haverhill on February 10, 1929, he was a son of the late Azem A. and Nellie (Wojtowicz) Moustafa.
Mr. Moustafa attended Haverhill Schools and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School.
He served a four year enlistment with the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was Honorably Discharged with the Rank of Staff Sergeant.
His employments included the Newburyport Daily News, the Courier Citizen Corp., for whom he worked for 26 years, and Computer Vision of Bedford from which he retired. He was a member of the Lowell Typographical Union Local 310.
He had been a communicant of St. Louis de France Church and held membership in the Centralville Social Club.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Richard Dery of Tyngsboro; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Lynn (Fiorello) Moustafa of Brookline, NH; four grandchildren, Stephen and Melissa Dery of Tyngsboro and Nicole and Danielle Moustafa of Brookline, NH; also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alfred Moustafa.
