Arthur W. Dubuc, 90, a Centralville resident, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Ruth T. (Martin) Dubuc, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell, on May 12, 1934, he was a son of the late Delphis and Marie (Allard) Dubuc.
He was a graduate of Ste. Jeanne D’Arc School and St. Joseph High School.
Arthur was a proud Air Force veteran, serving with the Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the Lowell VFW Post 662.
He attended the former St. Louis de France Church and was a current member of Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Church in Dracut.
He worked for Phaneuf Press for 31 years until it’s closing and retired from UMASS Lowell in 2020 after 19 years of service as a security guard. He was a member of the Teamsters, Local 25 at UMASS Lowell and the Printers Pressman’s Union, Local 109.
He enjoyed going to Hampton Beach in the Summer and day trips on weekends with the children to the mountains and different beaches. When the kids were young, he enjoyed watching their Little League games. Arthur was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
In addition to his wife he leaves four children, Bill and Colleen (Finnegan) Dubuc, John and Sandra (Cohan) Dubuc, Lisa Finnegan and Ron Dubuc and the late Gary Dubuc; eleven grandchildren, Kevin, Emily, Christopher, Zachary and the late Matthew Dubuc, Brandi and Danny Finnegan, Nicholas, Natalie, Gary, II and Shilo Dubuc; a great-grandson, Aiden Finnegan. He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Amy (Manseau) Dubuc. Also several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Frank Dubuc, Estelle Goodin and his twin brother, Albert Dubuc.
The family would like to thank Dr. Dimitre Sirakov and everyone at Beacon Hospice, especially Amarillis and Albert for their wonderful care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to Arthur’s Life Celebration on Sunday from 2 until 4 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 AM in Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Church. Burial will be private.
