DRACUT - Arthur R. Malcuit, 73, a resident of Dracut, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Lisa M. (Zannoni) Malcuit, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in Boston on November 17, 1948, he was a son of the late Arthur J. and Rose M. (Renna) Malcuit.
Arthur served with the United States Army Military Police during the Vietnam War being honorably discharged in 1971.
He retired from the town of Billerica as Superintendent of Waste Water, where he also served as Interim DPW Commissioner.
He was a long time member of the East End Club in Lowell. Arthur enjoyed camping, trips to the beach, and the many family dogs they had over the years. Most important to him was time spent with his family, especially Lisa and his children.
In addition to his wife Lisa he leaves two children, Paul A. Malcuit and his wife Holly A. (Wolti) and Kayla R. Malcuit, and his grandson, Jackson P. Malcuit, all of Dracut. He also leaves Lisa's siblings and their spouses, Paul Michael and Judith Zannoni, Dennis and Fran Zannoni, Bernard Zannoni and Richard Toupin; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a brother of the late Richard and Peter Malcuit, brother-in-law of the late Sharon and Ronald Close, Kathleen Toupin and Edward Zannoni.
We will remember Arthur fondly for his personal quote, "I'm just a kid from Mission Hill."
Relatives and friends are invited to Arthur's Life Celebration on Sunday from 2 until 5 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 AM in St. Michael Church. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
