OBITUARY
Arnold F. "Ben" Lovering.of Dracut, formerly of Lowell; 90
DRACUT - Arnold F. "Ben" Lovering, 90, of Dracut, and a former Lowell resident, died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Saints Memorial Medical Center, Lowell. He was married for 67 years to Eleanora "Lillian" (Janeczko) Lovering.
He was born in Lowell on May 30, 1915, son of the late Royal and Margaret (Bainbridge) Lovering. He received his education in the Chelmsford School System and was a graduate of the Chelmsford High School, Class of 1932.
Before his retirement, Mr. Lovering worked as a department manager for the Educator Biscuit Company and as a security guard at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
He was an avid reader of mystery novels, enjoyed listening to gospel music, and watching both the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
Mr. Lovering was a communicant of St. Michael Church, Lowell.
In addition to his wife Lillian of Dracut, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold J. and Brenda (Corcoran) Lovering of Chelmsford, MA and Roy F. and Susan (Harrington) Lovering of Nashua, NH; six grandchildren, Arnold F. Lovering of Newton, MA, Kimberly Lovering of Brighton, MA, Kara (Lovering) Letourneau and her spouse Larry Letourneau of Acton, MA, John Lovering of Chelmsford, Chelsea Lovering and "RJ" Lovering, both of Nashua, NH; two great granddaughters, Isabelle Letourneau and Liette Letourneau, both of Acton; many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Marjorie (Lovering) Constantine.
