Armand L. Leboeuf

May 23, 1935 — December 15, 2021

DRACUT - Armand L. Leboeuf, age 86, a longtime resident of Dracut died Wednesday December 15, 2021 at Courville at Nashua. He was the beloved husband of Ethel E. (Krawczyk) Leboeuf, with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in June.

He was born in Lowell on May 23, 1935, and was a son of the late George and Irene (Monette) Leboeuf. He was a graduate of the former Keith Academy in Lowell and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Merrimack College in North Andover and his Master's Degree in Education from Boston University.

Prior to his retirement, Armand was employed for many years as the head of the reading department for Medfield Public Schools. He was also employed for many years during the summer months by the Lowell National Historic Park.

He was a longtime, active communicant of St. Therese Church (now Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church) in Dracut.

Armand was also very active in the Town of Dracut as a former member and chairman of the Dracut Recreation Commission and former member and chairman of the Dracut Finance Committee. He was also a longtime member of the Dracut Lions Club.

He enjoyed playing cribbage and tennis and was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox. Following his retirement, he and Ethel enjoyed spending their summers at Sawyer Lake in Gilmanton, NH and winters in Port Orange, FL. His greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of his loving family, especially his adoring grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Armand is survived and will be deeply missed by three sons, David Leboeuf and his wife Kelly of Gilmanton, NH, Richard Leboeuf and his wife Nancy of Dracut, James Leboeuf and his wife Paula of Dracut; his daughter, Nancy Murphy and her husband Tom of Dracut; his ten grandchildren, Zachary, Lyndsey, Matthew, Tyler, Justin, Ashley, Hailey, Katelyn, Ryan, and Jacob; two sisters, Cecile Potvin and her husband Edward of Lowell and Theresa Jezak of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the father of the late Michael Leboeuf and the brother of the late George Leboeuf.

A special thank you to the staff of the Courville at Nashua and the Arbors of Dracut who took special care of him.
