Argy Molaro

October 14, 1914 — February 7, 2014

Argy Molaro, beloved wife of the late Emil Molaro died at her Woburn residence on February 7, 2014. She was 99. Born in Masserano, Italy on October 14, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Ernesto and Aurelia (Biolla) Samarati. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Rosetta.
Argy immigrated to Union City, New Jersey at age 5. Taught by her talented mother, she entered into an exciting career in New York's garment industry. She was employed for many years as both a seamstress and a draper for high-end garment houses such Bill Blass.
While working in the industry she met her husband, Emil, and together they celebrated 67 years of marriage until his death in 2009. Argy and Emil loved traveling to their home country of Italy, where they owned a condo and summered for 10 years after retiring. They both also enjoyed time at the casinos in New Jersey and Connecticut, more often "making deposits" rather than "withdrawals." Argy loved to cook for her family with Emil beside her every night drying the dishes. Argy got her dream house at the beach, in Mantoloking NJ, where she and Emil lived for almost 10 years before moving to Massachusetts to be closer to their daughter Joan and grandchildren.
Argy's family is deeply appreciative of the warm and loving care she received from her (Celtic) Angels during the last years of her life. Indeed, they all enriched and extended her life.
Survivors include her daughter Joan Curtice of Burlington; two grandchildren: Scott and his wife Julie of North Reading, Corrie of Beaufort, NC; a great grandson, Nathan, and several nieces and nephews.
