Annie Belle (Bennett) (Marcouillier) Marcotte, 84, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late David Marcotte.
Born in Eglon, West Virginia on September 24, 1930, she was the youngest of thirteen children of the late McClellan and Martha Anna (Waybright) Bennett.
Mrs. Marcotte was raised in Horseshoe Run, WV and was a proud graduate of Aurora High School, WV.
She moved from West Virginia to Lowell in the 1950's where she raised her family.
She was employed as a research development technician for Polaroid in Waltham prior to her retirement.
Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves four children, Ronald Marcouillier and his wife Barbara of Dover, NH, Brenda Harris and her husband Patrick of TX, Edward Marcouillier and his wife Lisa of Chelmsford and Warren Marcouillier and his wife Jennifer of Billerica; she leaves 17 grandchildren, among whom are Jennifer DesJardins, Steven Marcouillier and Cheryl Wallace, to whom she was guardian; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Ada Slaubaugh of WV. She was the mother of the late Patricia (Boissoneault) Vela and Steven Marcouillier. She also leaves her dog Buddy.
