Annette P. Tully

DRACUT- Annette (Chouinard) Tully, wife of B. Joseph Tully, passed away on April 16, 2009 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was born on July 21, 1925 in Lowell.
Mrs. Tully grew up in the Centralville section of Lowell, the tenth of twelve children born to the late Alvina Gagnon and Zenon Chouinard. She later moved to Dracut to raise her family. Ann spent many summers at her home in Seabrook Beach, New Hampshire and many winters in Hollywood, Florida with her friends and family.
Mrs. Tully enjoyed playing cards, bingo, knitting and completing jigsaw puzzles. Ann also found pleasure in organizing her annual trips to the Beacon Hotel with all of her sisters and friends. Mrs. Tully was the past president of the Dracut Friendship Luncheon. She was an avid sports fan and could always be seen on the sidelines cheering on her children and later her grandchildren.
Mrs. Tully is survived by her husband of 59 years, B. Joseph Tully of Dracut; her four children, Sharon Tully of Dracut, Joseph R. Tully of Dracut, Philip R. Tully of Salisbury and Jo-Ann Tully Keegan and her husband John of Lowell. She is also survived by two beloved grandchildren who added great happiness to her life, James Tully Keegan and Kristina Ann Keegan. In addition, Mrs. Tully is survived by four sisters, Yvette Trouville, Doris Noel, Julie Doyle and Lucille Lacourse, and one brother, George Chouinard and his wife Cecile and a brother-in-law, Frank Tully and a sister-in-law Elizabeth Tully. Ann was the sister of the late Irene Lamarre, Estelle Bisson, Rita Lalime, Eileen Richards, Cecile Thibodeau and Dorothy Shannon.
