Annette T. (Elie) Rainville, wife of Jesse Gonzalez, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Lowell General Hospital with her beloved family by her side. She was 59.
Annette was born in Lowell on September 6, 1959, the rebel daughter of the late Frederick and Jeannette (Cloutier) Elie.
She grew up in Dracut, but remained in Lowell until she moved to California with her children in late 2000.
Annette was an independent spirit who raised her three sons on her own while working two jobs to provide for them. She worked for many years in retail sales where she met some of her closest friends. Annette had a love for animals, friends, family, and life itself. Family meant everything to her, including her pets and especially her grandchildren. She made sure to travel multiple times a year to visit her four "grand-babies".
Annette and Jesse moved back to the area in 2016 to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her husband, her three sons, and a daughter in law, Paul and Brianne Rainville, Adam Rainville, Brian Rainville all of Lowell; her four grandchildren, Destiny Carl, Autumn Rainville, Airika Rainville, Olivia Rainville; her siblings, Patty Regan, Barbara McLaughlin, Jim Elie, and Paul Burke; her former husband Ronald Rainville of Santa Rosa, CA.
Relatives and friends are invited to Annette's Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 7 PM on Thursday. A prayer service will take place at 5:30 PM. Her burial will be private.
