Annette M. Chausse

Lowell - Annette M. (Bourgeault) Chausse, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, widow of Leo J. Chausse, died Monday February 8, 2010 at the Saints Medical Center following a period of declining health. She was 93.
Annette was born in Lowell on January 7, 1917, a daughter of the late Eugene and Laura (LeBeau) Bourgeault.
Prior to her retirement she was employed in the sewing department at the former St. Joseph's Hospital in Lowell.
Annette was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church, was a member of the D'Youville Manor Ladies Guild, enjoyed crochetting blankets, and an avid bingo player. Most of all she cherished time spent with her family, all knew her as memere or big memere.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Roger E. and Audrey Chausse of Chicopee, Leo P. and Patricia Chausse of Leesburg FL, Anita Michaud with whom she lived with of Lowell, Claire and George J. Brucato of Dracut; two sisters Helen Theriault of Ossipee, NH, Pauline Letendre of Brockton; ten grandchildren, David Michaud, Robert Chausse, Michael Chausse, Debra Makos, Jeffrey Chausse, Lisa Brucato -Weissbach, Christopher Chausse, George B. Brucato, Christine Whitehead, Kevin Michaud; twenty one great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Yvonne Larmand, Cecile Bacon, Lillian Bourgeault, Roland Bourgeault, Claire Dery, Rita Dow, and grandmother of the late Stephen Chausse.
