Anne M. Burns

Dracut - Anne M. (Ryan) Burns, 77, widow of Harold Burns, died Monday May 7, at the Saints Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Tewksbury on September 3, 1929, a daughter of the late George and Alice (O'Brien) Ryan.
Prior to her retirement Anne was employed for more than 20 years at the Butler Bank in Lowell. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Anne enjoyed traveling, especially to Naples, FL, where she spent the winter, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include three children and their spouses, Kathy Scomis of Lowell, Barbara and John Grady of Dracut, Kevin and Sue Burns of Litchfield, NH; a sister Betty Curley of Portland, CT; nine grandchildren, Brian Scomis, Matthew Scomis, Kimberly Scomis, Sean Grady, Ryan Grady, Timothy Grady, Rebecca Burns, Delaney Burns and Macy Burns. She was also the mother in law of the late Steve Scomis.
