Anna M. Silva

Anna Marie (Kelsey) Silva, 77, of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 12, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Marie (Grey) and Theodore Kelsey.

Anna loved her job as a bartender and will forever be remembered for her outgoing personality, which led to bringing people together, connecting with strangers and celebrating all that life had to offer.

She enjoyed playing pool, poker and cards, long car rides, spending time at the beach, hosting friends and family at her home, sharing seafood dinners with her grandson Justin, baking pies for Thanksgiving gatherings and taking care of the ones she loved most.

Anna is survived by her three daughters, Kelly Fortin of Lowell, Kimberly Fortin and her partner, Kevin Vezina of Lowell and Kathleen Tavares and her husband, Paul of Hudson, NH; her eight grandchildren, Jonathan Tavares and his wife, Sarah, David Walsh, Alyssa Medina and her husband, Carlos, Christian DaSilva, Justin Vezina and his significant other, Jorge, Tyler DaSilva, Jonathan Vezina and Casey Greenslade; her seven great-grandchildren, Jayden, Cameron, Jaxon, Alena, Mateo, Liliana and Trinity; her son-in-law, Edward DaSilva; her adored caretaker, Joanne Diaz; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is predeceased by her brother, Harold R. Wade, Jr. and her beloved granddaughter, Savannah L. DaSilva.

Relatives and friends are invited to Anna’s Life Celebration on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 2 until 5 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her funeral service will be held at 5 PM following the visitation. Burial will be held privately.
