Anna A. (Tessier) Rondeau

June 19, 1927 — October 17, 2016

Anna A. (Tessier) Rondeau, a resident of Dracut for 52 years, died on October 17, 2016 at D'Youville Senior Care after an extended illness. Anna was born in Lowell, MA on June 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Philippe and Rose Anna (Masson) Tessier. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut.
Anna is predeceased by her husband Emile D. Rondeau, the love of her life, with whom she celebrated 67 years of marriage. Together they frequented many parish halls in search of a good Bingo game and became lasting friends with others who enjoyed a good laugh.
Anna loved Lowell and enjoyed walking or taking the bus downtown. In her younger years, Anna greatly enjoyed dancing at the Commodore and at the Lakeview Ballroom. Prior to her marriage, she worked in the textile mills as a quiller.
Anna's life centered on her family. A kind hearted soul, Anna was loyal to her family and friends and generous to those in need. Accepting and forgiving, Anna was perpetually polite and chose to see the best in others. She enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, gardening, making wood fiber flowers and flower arranging. She most enjoyed evenings spent with family and friends playing a good card game and time spent as "Memere" to her loving grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children and their spouses, Roger Rondeau and Patricia Nolan, Robert Rondeau and Pamela Rousseau and Gloria Phelps and her husband Robert; her grandchildren Marcia Jones and her husband Rick, Joseph Rondeau, Bryan Parent and his fiancé Tai Heatley and Bradley Rondeau and his wife Shelby; one great grandson Sawyer Jones; her brother-in-law Ernest Rondeau; her sister-in-law Theresa Tessier; her friend and personal nurse Barbara Harding and many loving nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbors and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Ralph Tessier, Roland Tessier and Rita Hebert.
During the last year of her life, Anna was a resident under the care of the D'Youville Senior Care staff, to whom the family is very grateful.
