DRACUT - Anna A. (Cornelio) (Grande) Morris, age 92, a resident of Dracut and former resident of Somerville and Cambridge died Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Palm Center in Chelmsford. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Morris, who died in 2007.
She was born in Italy on February 7, 1929, and was a daughter of the late Antonio and Lucia (Giusti) Cornelio.
Prior to her retirement, Anna was employed for many years as the Director of Housekeeping at Somerville Hospital.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell.
Anna was wonderfully talented cook and seamstress and she was an avid bingo player. Her greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of her loving family and friends.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Leon Grande and his wife Andrea of Dracut, Linda Grande-Monroe and her fiancé Troy Dagres, of Pelham, NH, and Anthony Grande and his wife Maureen of Bedford, NH; her stepson, Thomas Morris of Lowell; nine grandchildren, Laura Sanscartier and her husband Paul of Dracut, Regina Rivera and her husband Carlos of Astoria, NY, Katherine Grande and her husband Anthony Barbato of Dracut, Christopher Grande and his wife Meaghan of Stratham, NH, Sean Monroe and his wife Sarah of Bedford, NH, Erica Monroe of Nashua, NH, Nicholas Grande and his wife Taylor of Durango, CO, Samuel Grande of Portsmouth, NH, and Jacob Grande of Bedford, NH; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Vincent Cornelio and his wife Elizabeth of Middleboro; a sister, Antoinette Toppi and her husband Bruno of Somerville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Rocco Grande.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anna's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Wednesday from 3:00 until 7:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Michael Church in Lowell. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to the Little Sisters of The Poor, 110-30 221st Street, Queens Village, NY 11429.
