Anna M. (Terruso) Petullo

Anna M. (Terruso) Petullo, 61 years old, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died Saturday afternoon at her home following a long illness.
Born in Boston on December 18 1949, Anna was a daughter of the late Castrenzi G. and Mary F. (Vieira) Terruso. She was educated in the Billerica schools and received her under graduate degree at Salem State College. Anna then received her degree in Education from Rivier College in Nashua, NH.
Anna taught in the Billerica Public School System for 37 years and at Northern Essex Community College for the past three years.
She is survived by a son, Daniel J. Petullo of Chelmsford; a daughter, Jaclyn V. Petullo of Tewksbury; a grandson, Ryan D. Petullo of Seabrook, NH; two brothers, John J. Terruso of Tyngsboro and James A. Terruso of East Hampton, MA; an uncle who made his home with Anna, Gaetano Terruso of Chelmsford and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Anna was also the Mother of the late Douglas G. Petullo who died on March 29. 2011.
