Lowell - Ann (Heald) Murphy, 96, widow of Cornelius P. Murphy, a Lowell resident, died Sunday March 27, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Dover, NH on October 29, 1908, a daughter of the late William and Ellen (Allison) Heald.
Mrs. Murphy was a member of St. Ann Episcopal Church in Lowell.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Cornelius P. and Anne Murphy of Chelmsford; and three grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late William P. Murphy and sister of the late William, Daniel, and John Heald, and Ellen Laycock.
