Ann R. Garneau… loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother
LOWELL – Ann R. (Grondine) Garneau, 92, a resident of the Belvidere section of Lowell, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Saints Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Leo A. Garneau with whom she was married for 71 years.
She was born in Dracut on June 20, 1919, a daughter of the late Charles and Henedine (Cote) Grondine.
Mrs. Garneau attended Dracut Schools and was a member of the first graduating class of Dracut High School in 1936.
She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell.
Besides her husband survivors include two sons and their spouses, Leo A. and Sandra (Armstrong) Garneau of Lowell and Larry C. and Virginia "Ginger" (Wilson) Garneau of SC; she also leaves seven grandchildren, Larry Garneau, Jr. and his wife Laurie, Michelle Hallion, Deborah Larocque, Lisa Walsh and her husband John, Karen Lefebvre and her husband William, Kevin Garneau and his wife Kimberly, Amy Doiron and her husband Darryl; in addition she has fourteen loving great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by three devoted Goddaughters, Connie Mullin, Martha K. Wolfe and Denise Jezak.
She was also the sister of the late Alice Belanger, Philippe Grondine, Dorothy Kiernan and Alfred Grondine.
