Ann M. Finn

LOWELL - Ann M. (Brennan) Finn, 76, a resident of the Christian Hill Neighborhood in the Centralville section of Lowell, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Martin J. "Mickey" Finn, with whom she would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on November 27.
Born in Lowell on February 23, 1932, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Katherine F. (Noon) Brennan.
Mrs. Finn was educated in Lowell Schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1950.
A communicant of St. Michael Church, she was a member of the Parish St. Vincent de Paul Society where she had volunteered for many years in the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. While her children attended St. Michael School she had been a member of St. Michael School PTA and had also volunteered her time cooking meals at the rectory.
Mrs. Finn was known for her Wednesday night roast beef dinners where all were invited, and often, there were as many as three different seatings.
She enjoyed vacationing at the beach in Seabrook, NH.
In addition to her husband she is survived by nine sons, Robert "Bob" Finn of Lowell and his children Meghan and Kaitlyn , Lawrence "Larry" Finn of Lowell, his girlfriend Suzanne Leone, and his children Micaela and Lily , John "Jack" Finn and his wife Phyllis of Tyngsboro and their children Casey and Brady , also Casey's friend Sarah Apitz, William Finn and his wife Cheryl of Billerica and their children Anthony, Marialayna and Matthew , James Finn and his wife MaryBeth of Lowell , Timothy Finn and his wife Amy of Sandwich and their children Brennan and Connor, Mark Finn of Lowell , Daniel Finn and his wife Traci of Lowell and their children Aidan and Evan and Eric Finn and his wife Jennifer of Salem, NH and their son Cody; three daughters, Maryjo Ryan and her husband Mark of Lowell, Martha Finn and her companion, Debra Fowler of Lowell and Colleen "Cookie" Conlon and her husband Bill of Dracut and their children Ryan and Brittany; a brother, Joseph Brennan and his wife Margaret of DE; a sister, Eleanor Fissette and her husband Eugene of Dracut; four sisters-in-law, Maxine Brennan of Lowell and Rose Brennan of Ayer, Patricia Finn of Lowell and Patricia (Blazonis) Finn of Seabrook, NH; her Godchildren, Maryellen (Fissette) Jenkins of Lynn and Maryann (Grigg) Elliott of VA; also many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joseph Finn and sister of the late William, Harry and Thomas Brennan, Helen Cantwell, Mary Grigg and Patricia Hendricks.
