Anita L. (Manahan) Nicoll

Anita L. (Manahan) Nicoll, age 69, resident of Hudson, NH, died on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was the beloved wife of Gordon A. Nicoll.

Anita was born in Lowell, MA on September 23, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Aurore M. (Laforge) and Walter Manahan.

Anita truly enjoyed the summer months and spending leisurely time in the pool with her family.

In addition to her husband Gordon, Anita is survived and will be deeply missed by her grandsons, Justin Dixon and Kaleb Dixon; her sister, Susan Fratus and her husband Raymond of Chelmsford; her three brothers, Michael Manahan of Dunstable, Charles Manahan and his wife Helen of Chelmsford and Roger Manahan of Springfield; her many nieces and nephews; as well as her close friends and work family. She is also survived by her son, James Dixon of Augusta, ME.

She was the mother of the late Jason M. Dixon and the sister of the late Robert Manahan, David Manahan, Mark Manahan, Patricia Vellrath, Louise Guillmette and Walter Manahan.

Per Anita’s wishes, all services were held privately.
