No. Billerica - Angeline R. (Portelance)Beecher, 86, widow of Henry J. Beecher, a resident of North Billerica, died Thursday August 18, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Lowell on October 5, 1918 a daughter of the late Marie Louise (Portelance) and Theodore Portelance.
In earlier years Mrs. Beecher worked as a spinner for the Talbot Mills in North Billerica, she later worked as a machine operator for a local laundry company on Lawrence Street in Lowell. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Andrew Church in No. Billerica, she also was an avid bingo player and enjoyed gardening and country music.
She is survived by her twin sister Germaine Richard and her husband Leo of Lowell; two brothers in law John Beecher of Lowell, Robert Beecher and his wife Jill of Dracut; five nieces; ten nephews; and several grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Bertha LeBlanc, Beatrice Davidson, Paul Portelance, and Jeannette Marchand.
