Amelia Berube

Amelia (Niedzwiecki) Berube, 81, a Lowell resident, died Wednesday May 24, 2006 at the Westford Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Lowell on August 13, 1924, a daughter of the late Peter and Katarzyna (Zabinska) Niedzwiecki.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Dusobox Company of Lowell. She had also worked at the Town and Country Nursing Home. She was a member of the Chelmsford Council on Aging.
Surviving her are a son and daughter in law, Peter R. and Janet M. Berube of Littleton; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Richard W. "Rocky" Provencher of Tyngsboro; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Connie Niedzwiecki of Pelham, NH; two sisters, Sophie Leroux of Chelmsford and Wanda Peabody of Tewksbury; six grandchildren, Tracy Gendreau and her husband Michael of Hudson, NH, Lisa Moore and her husband Kenneth of Tyngsboro, Scott Provencher of Fort Meyers, FL, Amanda, Shawn and Jeffrey Berube of Littleton; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Jane Tierney.
