Alma E. Gilbride

Alma E. (Bergeron) Gilbride, 93, a resident of Oswego, Illinois for the last four years, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. She was the wife of former City Counselor Raymond J. Gilbride.
Born in Canada on July 28, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Omer and Delia (Boisvert) Bergeron.
Mrs. Gilbride was raised in Pelham, NH and was a graduate of St. Louis Academy in Lowell.
She resided in the Pawtucketville section of Lowell for many years and while living there had been a communicant of St. Rita Church. She was a former member of the Parish Ladies Sodality and Jeanne Manse Circle. She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald C. and Diane Gilbride of Oswego, IL, with whom she resided; six grandchildren, Kerry Panagiotakos and her husband Christopher, Keith, Amy and Lisa McMahon, Patrick and Lauren Gilbride; a great granddaughter, Kaylee Bond; also several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Donna McMahon.
