Allan E. Young

Dracut - Allan E. Young, Jr., 77, widower of Evelyn T. (Blair) Young, a Dracut resident, died Monday April 18, 2005 at the Saints Memorial Medical Center.
He was born in Wilmington on January 3, 1928, a son of the late Allan E. and Emma (Martin) Young.
Mr. Young was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Air Force, and attained the rank of CPL.
He was employed as a truck driver for Thomas Express retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Dracut American Legion, and AARP.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters in law, Allan E. III and Maryanne Young of Lowell, Kevin B. and Trixie Young of Dracut, Wayne D. and Debbie Young of Sanbornton, NH, David J. Young of FL; a daughter and son in law Paula & Roger Hurbert of Hudson, NH; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Ruth Nault, Laura Muir, and Donald Young.
