Alice R. (Massicotte) Roy

Lowell – Alice R. (Massicotte) Roy, widow of Paul W. Roy, Sr., a resident of the Belvedere section of Lowell, died Thursday September 15, 2011 at the Tewksbury Hospital following an extended illness. She was 89.
Alice was born in Lowell on August 30, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Pronovost) Massicotte.
Prior to her retirement Alice was employed in the mailroom at Raytheon. She enjoyed reading and puzzles.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law, Doris and Brendan Rogers of CT, Dolores and Jim Senior of Pepperell, Bea Roy of Lowell; a son and daughter in law, Paul and Suzanne Roy of Manchester, NH; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Maurice, Henry, Louis, Leo, Yvonne, Doris and their families. She was the grandmother of the late Jennifer Anne Mangum, and sister of the late Rachel Vaillancourt, Harvey Massicotte, Jeanne Lyons, Irene Boissoneault.
