LOWELL – Alice (Buote) (Rondeau) Rivet, 93, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at a local health care facility. She was the wife of the late Paul G. Rivet. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Harvey Rondeau.
Born in Lowell on July 29, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Edmond and Alice A. (Montbleau) Buote.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Rivet had been employed as a nurse’s aide for the D’Youville Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Rivet was a communicant of St. Rita Church, and held membership in the Centralville and Dracut Senior Citizen’s Clubs.
She is survived by three sons, Robert J. Rondeau and his wife Judy of Phoenix, AZ, Ronald J. Rondeau and his wife Raeann of Hudson, NH and George J. Rondeau of Lowell; a daughter, Aline M. Rondeau and her companion Donald Beaudry of Lowell; a step son, Robert P. Rivet and his wife Evelyn of Marion Il; two step daughters, Theresa Canelas of Manchester N.H. and Jeanne Lavalle and her husband Albert of Dracut; a brother, Francis Tellier of NH; a sister, Lorraine Lowe and her husband Raymond of Lowell; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Rondeau of Vacaville, CA, 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Roger J., Joseph J. and Richard J. Rondeau, step mother of the late Paul G. Rivet, Jr. grandmother of the late Paul Rondeau and sister of the late Edmond Tellier, Georgette Desmarais and Aurora Matte.
