Alice E. Marcotte

LOWELL - Alice E. (Bechard) Marcotte, 76, a resident of Lowell, died Tuesday evening, July 15, 2008 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Armand G. Marcotte who died June 14, 2007.
Born in Lowell on December 30, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Amanda (Gaudette)(Bechard) Zalis. She was also predeceased by her step-father, Joseph Zalis.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Marcotte had been employed by Hub Hosiery as an inspector.
Mrs. Marcotte is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Raymond Brunelle of Pelham, NH; a son, Gerald Marcotte of Lowell; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She also leaves two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Pauline Lemire of Dracut, Germaine and Henry Duffy and Eugene Marcotte, Jr., all of Lowell.
