Alice A. (Lozeau) Brunelle, age 90, a longtime resident of Dracut died Friday, February 24, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry O. “Hank” Brunelle, who died in 2014.
She was born in Lowell on June 4, 1932, and was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Eva (Masson) Lozeau. She attended St. Joseph School in Lowell.
Alice spent her life tending to needs of her home and her loving family and being in their company was her greatest joy.
She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut and the former St. Jean Baptiste Church in Lowell, where she spent many hours volunteering her time.
Alice is survived by her seven children, Pauline Sigman of Lowell, Jeannie Lambert of Lowell, Joseph Brunelle of Dracut, Maurice “Moe” Brunelle and his wife Lynn of Sandown, NH, Rich Brunelle and his wife Donna of Dracut, Mike Brunelle and his wife Karen of New Ipswich, NH and John Brunelle of Tyngsborough; two sisters, Claire Dube and Therese Hudon, both of Lowell; eleven grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Regina, Marie-Ange, Irene, Cecile, Rose, Rita and Ray.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alice’s Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Thursday, March 2nd from 4:00 until 7:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00am at St. Francis Church in Dracut. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice’s memory Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
