LOWELL – Alice T. (Gauvin) Beaulieu, 82, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the recent widow of Raoul J. "Ralph" Beaulieu, who passed on November 16, 2013.
Born in Lowell on May 1, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Eva M. (Lajoie) Gauvin.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Beaulieu was employed as a stitcher for the Suffolk Knitting Company of Lowell. She also served as a day care provider for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Margaret Church of Lowell.
Alice enjoyed being outdoors in her garden, but she mostly enjoyed any event that gave her the opportunity to spend time with her family.
She leaves three sons, Raymond "Ray" Beaulieu and his wife, Cindy (Hall) of Dracut, Donald Beaulieu and his wife, Katie (Cooney) and Robert Beaulieu, all of Lowell; three daughters, Lucille "Lucy" Vandette and her husband, Robert of Boxford, Susan Boyle and her husband, Edward of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Irene O'Neill and her husband, Brian of Lowell; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, True Gauvin of Pelham, NH, George and Jeannette Beaulieu and Claire Gamache, all of Nashua, NH; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Doris Beaulieu and sister of the late Leo and Paul Gauvin.
