Alfred C. Carbonneau, Jr. , 68, of Lowell, died peacefully on Tuesday April 16, 2013 following a period of declining health at the Palm Center in Chelmsford.
Born in Lowell on September 7, 1944, he was a son of the late Alfred C. Carbonneau, Sr. and of Irene (Letendre) Carbonneau of Lowell who survives him.
For many years, Fred worked at Tewksbury Wood Products. He went on to work at Lowell General Hospital in custodial services until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan and loved fishing. Above all, he cherished his role as Pepere to his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Kelly Frisaura and her husband, Marcos of Burlington, Andrew Martin of Westford; two grandchildren, Kaylin and Brooklyn Frisaura of Burlington; a brother, Raymond Carbonneau of Lowell; three sisters, Cecile Hall and her husband, Arthur of Hudson, NH, Doris Parks and her husband, Bob of Dracut, Priscilla Vachon and her husband, David of Hudson, NH; a brother-in-law, Billy Lannan of Tyngsboro; many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Yvonne Lannan, Gerard Carbonneau and brother- in- law to the late Suzanne Carbonneau.
