DRACUT - Albert J. "Pete" Rene, 79, a resident of Dracut, died Wednesday morning, February 2, 2005, at his home. He was the husband of the late Doris E. (Roy) Rene.
Born in Lowell on July 15, 1925, he was a son of the late Albert J. and Helen M. (Morin) Rene.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Rene was employed by the Pellon Corporation of Lowell.
He was a communicant of Ste. Therese Church in Dracut and was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens Club and the C.C.A. Club.
Mr. Rene is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Leonard Dufault of Pelham, NH; two grandsons and their wives, Daniel and Deborah (Berard) Dufault of Windham, NH and Edward and Renee (Muise) Dufault of Lowell; four great grandchildren, Andrea and Brandon Dufault of Windham, NH and Adam and Abigail Dufault of Lowell. He was the brother of the late Irene Rene of Lowell.
