Albert P. Chandonnet

Tewksbury – Albert P. Chandonnet, the beloved husband of the late Pauline T. (Lafortune) Chandonnet, died Saturday February 22, 2014 at his Tewksbury residence following an extended illness. He was 82.
Born in Lowell on January 30, 1932, he was a son of the late Joseph and Ida (Decelle) Chandonnet.
Prior to his retirement, Albert was employed as a foreman for Tewksbury Wood Products. He was also a former parishioner at St. William Church where he was an active volunteer.
Survivors include his children, Janine Hay and her husband, William of Wolfboro, NH, Paul A. Chandonnet and his wife, Heather of Salem, NH, Denis L. Chandonnet and his fiancée, Denise Benthem of Tewksbury, Ronald Chandonnet and his wife Janet of Mobile, AL, Michael Chandonnet of Tewksbury, David J. Chandonnet and his wife Penny of Dracut; 13 grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Christopher, Joseph, Arielle, Chantelle, Christine, Cheri, Alex, Adam, Thomas, Jessalyn and Katelin; 5 great grandchildren; three brothers, Phil and his wife Julie of Lowell, Henry and his wife Patricia of Dracut; a sister, Jeanne Langley of Cape Cod; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Francis Chandonnet and Therese Greenwood.
