Albert H. "Al" Bergeron, 81, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Lowell on November 7, 1927, a son of the late Cyrille and Florida (Pelletier) Bergeron.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Anheuser-Bush and Wright's Trucking. He enjoyed boating on the Merrimack River and his daily visits to the Lowell Senior Center.
He is survived by three sisters, Anna St. Pierre and Rita Beauchesne, both of Lowell and Alice Prescott of Dracut. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Bergeron of Dracut, Cecile Bergeron and Gerald Geoffroy, both of Lowell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Arthur "Blondie", Wilfred and Raymond "Blackie" Bergeron, Eva Bergeron, Pauline Bergeron, Irene Landry and Lorraine Geoffroy.
